Don`t be expecting to watch Ryu wrestle Scorpion any time soon.

Ed Boon has responded to people who believe that his twitter posts are teases for upcoming projects from NetherRealmin a statement that says “not every thing is a klue”.

The issue came up after an individual told Ed Boon that he didn`t know which of his tweets were teases, and which of them were simply tweets. The speculation started because Boon began a poll asking his fans to choose which of the Street Fighter games they preferred.

Ed Boon responded to a fan who wanted to know if the tweet was a hint at the possibility of a game in the near future. Boon said that there was no guarantee that every tweet was an attempt to imply that we`re doing. Hopefully that helps”.

This was a follow-up to an earlier thread where Ed Boon discussed how it`s not so easy to make games, because people request the game. After he posted a piece of fan art for Mortal Kombat x Street Fighter, Ed was asked why the project had never happenedin the first place, and he answered, “2 different publishers adds the complexity. It`s not as simple as “people would like it, so let`s do it”.

Ed Boon is known for beinga bit of an internet troll, especially in his tweets regarding teaser announcements, and news about games. He makes references to Rain in Mortal Kombat all the time. But, it appears that, despite knowing his limitsand isn`t averse to having his Tweets to be analyzed.

In light of the fact that Ed Boon`s tweets can be interpreted as teasers of the NetherRealm video game, it`s not too surprising that he`ll be a little bored of the constant tease. All the responses to Ed`s Tweets tend to be associated with fans who are either asking for the third Kombat Pack, lamenting him for putting off development of Mortal Kombat 11, or asking for Injustice 3 news. Following Ed Boon tweeted about the possibility of a Marvel fighting video was possiblethere was speculation about the development team. It was thought to be a hint it might be occurring.
